International Referee Yulia Akulova Appointed to 2026 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Matches

Kazakhstan international referee Yulia Akulova has been appointed to officiate matches of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League (VNL), one of the most prestigious annual tournaments in international volleyball.

During the first week of the competition, Akulova will serve as both first and second referee in men's and women's matches taking place in Canada. In addition, she has been assigned to officiate women's VNL matches during the tournament's third week in Hong Kong.

This appointment is another recognition of Yulia Akulova's professionalism, experience, and reputation within the international volleyball community.
